Full Building Electrical Thermography for Dubai Mixed Use Development

We were engaged by the client in Dubai to inspect their LV electrical panels to assess the integrity of the connections. This was done as part of pre handover compliance and obligations. Cornerstone’s Level II certified thermographers worked in two teams to complete the inspection of the MDBs and bus risers within agreed time frame of three months including reinsertion of repairs made.

The inspection was done with the panels loaded to the maximum available capacity maintaining a minimum of 40% of total connected load for the particular panel inspected. The maintenance team of the property was notified about the faults that we found and corrective actions were taken. We were able to provide valuable inputs regarding the condition of the bus bar risers and electrical panels before the handover of the building.

Our experience on similar large scale projects and our prequalification and preapprovals with most MEP consultants led the client to appoint us as the thermographic inspector for the prestigious development. We have understood through the years that an electrical thermography inspection before project handover goes a long way in ensuring smooth operations.
