A load study of the LV network is often required to be conducted as per local regulations before adding new loads to the existing panel. Similar studies have to be performed for large scale expansions as well. Cornerstone perform load study of LV networks by measuring existing load levels over a 30 day usage cycle, which allows our engineers to determine the additional capacity available in an electrical panel. A detailed report which includes graphical data is provided to the client following the study.
Old facilities that do not have a load schedule or proper SLD diagrams can benefit from our load studies as we can prepare these documents for our clients, which further strengthen their safety credentials and documentation.
